We’ve completed the next stage of the extension of the hatchery of Indyk Górski Group in Brzesko - installation of the most modern incubators from Petersime in Marek Górski Turkey Hatchery.
In September 2015 we started the extension in Marek Górski Turkey Hatchery and added two production halls: a setter room and a hatcher room, and then it was the time to install the latest technology of Petersime BioStreamer ™ 4TS and 4TH incubators. These are the most advanced incubators available on the market.
“We always focus on quality, which is now ensured also by the latest incubators," says the owner Marek Górski. “The choice was simple: Petersime is the best company on the market that has extensive experience in constructing incubators and builds them with diligence. After choosing the company we had to choose the model, which also was not a problem; we have three BioStreamer machines at the hatchery – the most modern line available on the market. "
The hatchery is now equipped with eight new setters and four hatchers – one machine was installed in the older setter room, and the rest was installed in the extension of the hatchery.
The latest equipment provides the best control over egg incubation – it provides 24-hour computer monitoring of the process. The system controls the embryo's temperature, weight loss and hatching of the chicks. All done with the use of the innovative solutions.
“The systems used in BioStreamer setters offer new, powerful possibilities," says Marek Górski. "At last we have control over one of the most important factors determining the development of a chick in an egg, which is the temperature of the embryo. The OvoScan ™ system is responsible for this and shows the exact temperature of the egg shell (which is the same as the temperature of the embryo). OvoScanTM sends a signal to the controller of the incubator which adapts the air temperature in the machine. What is crucial is the fact that it is done immediately, without manual adjustments. In the past the hatchery manager could check the parameters and change them accordingly, but the reaction was always late. Now, the equipment is not supervised by man 24 hours a day. This is done automatically by the incubator. The same situation occurs in the case of weight loss – DWLS™ (Dynamic Weight Loss System ™). The machine checks the weight loss every hour and adjusts the conditions to achieve the optimal weight loss at transfer. These solutions significantly improve the hatching results and the quality of the chicks."
The hatchers also have an innovative system – Synchro-Hatch ™. The operating principle of this system is more complex.
“The Synchro-Hatch™ system controls the entire hatching process of the chicks," says Grzegorz Ważydrąg, The Hatchery Manager. "It scans the baskets with the eggs and knows when both the internal and external pipping happen. The result is a much shorter hatch window and better quality of the chicks. "
“We have three machines of this type, which were purchased in 2014,” Marek Górski adds. "For 3 years we have seen a significant improvement in hatching results from these incubators, which proves that these machines are the best".
It is worth mentioning that the Marek Górski Turkey Hatchery is the only turkey hatchery in Poland using BioStreamer™ line from Petersime.
